The redesign of Pizza Hut's multi-million dollar eCommerce website, was an extensive year and a half long project. The process began with evaluating and documenting the limitations of a preexisting system which had to integrate with thousands of stores and multiple point of sale systems. Dozens of user flows and experiences were rethought with the goal of simplifying the entire experience, whether it was ordering a single pizza or fulfilling a multiple item coupon. The user interface was designed to be simple, clean, and clear while showcase the product's appetite appeal. The project didn't end at launch, through usability testing and direct customer feedback the site underwent several optimizations and update. The end result lead to a 15% increase in online sales, a 5% increase in conversion rate, and 5% increase in average guest check. Propelling annual sales to 500 million.
