The challenge was to build Pizza Hut's association with fantasy football.
Concept 1
Shut yer pie hole
In order to be good at fantasy football, you need to do your research, stay up to date on player news, monitor the waiver wire and have luck on your side. There is, however, another aspect of Fantasy Football that requires less time and effort that anyone can do — smack talking. "Shut yer pie hole" takes smack talking to the forefront. Through a Facebook app, users are free to talk smack to their friends and others around the country. Talk enough smack and Pizza Hut will step in and "Shut yer pie hole" with a free pizza.
Concept 2
Take home the cheese
No two fantasy football leagues are the same, they can consist of a group of co-workers, old college buddies or group of girls who choose players based on hotness. Once a year these motley crews come together for 14 weeks of fantasy fun. They get together for live draft nights, create trophies and team logos and revel in their successes and friends' failures. In order to allow them to show their pride, Pizza Hut is looking for the fantasy football league of the year. Through Facebook Connect, users can assemble their team, showcase their league and complete weekly challenges to earn points. The league that scores the most points will take home the cheese(a huge, ridiculously awesome trophy and 12 Gs).
